What does that leave LGBTQ Ohioans with? Squat. It’s still generally legal to discriminate against LGBTQ people in Ohio, and now Sessions is saying the Department of Justice won’t back your back either.
There are bills that could fix this (SB100 and HB160), and it’s time Ohio lawmakers take them seriously and give them a chance.
It’s time to make three calls.
Call Representative Blessing at 614-466-9091 and ask him to grant HB160 another hearing to protect LGBTQ Ohioans.
Call Senator Coley at 614-466-8072 and ask him to grant SB100 a hearing to protect LGBTQ Ohioans.
Finally, call Governor Kasich at 614-466-3555 and ask him to protect LGBTQ Ohioans from the Trump administration by committing to signing a bill protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination when it reaches his desk.
