Please make your plans to attend Ohio’s premier educational event addressing issues of equity, opportunity, diversity and inclusion. “The State-of-the-State”, our 14th annual conference, returns to Toledo, Ohio and features an all-star line up of presentations and panels addressing critical diversity topics. We’re especially pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be TyKiah Wright, founder and Executive Director of WrightChoice, Inc. Ms. Wright is dedicated to showing the importance of embracing diversity in the workplace. A gifted motivational speaker with an inspiring personal story, Ms. Wright has worked with a variety of state and national organizations and corporations assisting them in finding meaningful opportunities for persons with disabilities. Ms. Wright is a member of OSU’s Fisher College of Business Diversity Advisory Committee and the Human Resource Association of Central Ohio. A Commissioner for the City of Columbus Community Relations Commission, Ms. Wright is a recent recipient of the prestigious Paul G. Hearne Leadership Award presented by the American Association of People with Disabilities. In 2006, she was featured in Ebony Magazine as one of the “30 leaders under 30”.
Ms. Wright is only one of our outstanding presenters this year. I am attaching our conference registration brochure that also provides a listing of our concurrent sessions. You do not want to miss out on this exceptional educational opportunity. Visit our website at for more details, and to take advantage of our online registration. This is also a wonderful opportunity for your organization to demonstrate its support for diversity by becoming a conference sponsor. All sponsorship levels include conference registrations as well as several other rewarding benefits.
We are continuing to offer this outstanding conference for the low registration fee of $125.00. This is a truly outstanding bargain, especially given the number and quality of presenters and sessions that we offer. In a time of budget shortfalls, we believe this low cost, high quality educational event continues to present conferees with an affordable opportunity to stay abreast of the critical challenges involving equity, opportunity and diversity. If you know of other individuals who might benefit from participating at our conference, please share this information with them. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you on March 25h. MR
