Columbus Pride Success

Columbus Pride was a great success! Estimates show that over 275,000+ people attended, with LGBT people, families and allies all joining the festivities. Equality Ohio had over 60 people march with us in the parade from Downtown Columbus to Goodale Park.
Equality Express Launch

Equality Ohio yesterday announced the launch of the “Equality Express 2012,” a statewide bus tour designed to spread the message of equality by educating Ohioans on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender issues through voter registration and community projects.
Bipartisan Support for EHEA

Equality Ohio announces bipartisan letter of support to Ohio House Speaker Batchelder and House Commerce and Labor Chairman Young to support passage of the Equality Housing and Employment Act (House Bill 335).
Denied a Position for being Gay

The Human Rights Campaign, Equality Ohio and Equality Cincinnati are calling on the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy to do the right thing and not discriminate against LGBT candidates in their hiring practices.
