Arrival:
Park in the City Center Mall Garage. Click here for parking and driving information. Don't forget to allow time for rush hour traffic.
Report to: Hyatt on Capitol Square Second Floor Governor's Ballroom. The Hyatt is at 75 E. State St., Columbus OH 43215 (Tel. 614-228-1234)

Registration begins promptly at 8:30am on the Hyatt's 1st Floor and the opening program will begin at 10:00am in the Governor's Ballroom. If you know your Senate district number, registration should be a snap.

The Morning Program - 10:00am:
Grab your registration materials, coffee or juice and head into the Governor's Ballroom (2nd Floor of the Hyatt) to hear our guest speakers: Steve May, Arizona Together Coalition; Rep. Joyce Beatty (D), The Hon. C.J. Prentiss, the Governor's Special Representative for Closing the Achievement Gap; Wade Rakes, Director of Public Liaison, Office of the Governor; Kayden Healy, student, University of Akron.

NOTE on your lobby meetings:
Your appointments may be spread out during the day. You may have one lobby visit in the morning and another in the afternoon. You'll find out your schedule when you arrive. Equality Ohio has been working very hard to finalize meeting times with all 132 legislators.

REMINDERS:

Lunch: If you paid for lunch we will have box lunches available for you. If you did not purchase lunch when you registered, you can purchase a boxed lunch or visit a local restaurant (there are many in nearby City Center Mall).

Attire: We are recommending business professional.

Bring letters from friends and family: You are welcome to present letters or photos to your legislators from friends and family who can't be at Lobby Day. It's a heartfelt way to make an even bigger impression on your elected officials. Feel free to bring along a written version of your personal story to leave behind also.
