Take Action
Make a Call

In just a couple minutes, you can make a powerful impact. Legislators take calls from people very seriously.

Please call Representative Scott Lipps at 614-756-2160. He is the chair of the Ohio House Health Committee, so he can decide whether HB503 receives hearings. Since this issue impacts all Ohioans, he needs to hear from all of us, regardless of your district.

You will likely speak to an aide, or if it’s after hours, you’ll leave a voicemail.

Say something like this:

My name is [name] and I am calling to ask that Representative Lipps moves House Bill 503 forward by holding hearings on it as soon as possible. This bill would protect LGBTQ youth from the harmful and medically rejected practice of so-called “conversion therapy”. This practice has a devastating effect on LGBTQ youth across the country by exacerbating suicide rates among LGBTQ youth and causing irreparable harm.
